This happiness starts by letting go of procrastination and perfectionism. I never knew exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up. For many years I had been a bookkeeper, then I taught Fly Fishing.
Nothing would fill up this hole, spending money, relationships, food or anything else I used to keep me into my rut. You see, ruts keep you ever in a path that’s not your choosing. Since it’s so hard to get out from the rut, it’s just easier to continue on this sidetracked journey.
Whenever we allow our routines to require over exactly the maintenance of our home and we’re on automatic aviator then we’re freed up to follow our own dreams one baby step at a time. I knew somebody who always wanted to be a lawyer.
He let his dreams slip away. He idea that following his own dreams was taking from his family. He’d no clue that he’d giving them a whole human being who had been not bitter.
